    Summary

    The purpose of the Design Project Manager, Staging is to serve as a designer and project manager on the company’s staging team. This person is responsible for general project management, upholding aesthetic standards established by the company, in-depth site surveying, executing space planning in AutoCAD, Rhino, etc., initial design concept development, furniture selection, art planning, sourcing, warehouse collaboration, installation collaboration, and comprehensive client communication.

    Position Requirements

    • Conduct in-depth site surveys of Active Projects to record the necessary conditions for executing a full design concept, with assistance from the Junior Project Manager(s) as needed

    • Create and manage the digital drawing set for all space planning purposes

    • Manage the production of furniture, art, and accessory plans based on guidelines set by the Head of Staging

    • Select proposed pieces either from the company’s warehouse, or via new purchases, for furniture, art, and accessory selection for Head of Staging review and approval, subject also to Director of Staging comments

    • Select paint colors for the production of paint schedules

    • Compile all design documentation in a concise design concept for each project

    • Oversee internal company painters for any custom commissioned paintwork, either on canvas, or in situ (murals, etc.)

    • Liaise with window treatment vendor and custom rug / textile vendors as needed for design execution

    • Liaise with and oversee third party contractor work as needed including but not limited to painting, electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, etc.

    • Shop online and in person for items to be used in the design of projects

    • Purchase items for projects (and/or direct others to execute this) and follow company ordering guidelines

    • Collaborate with the company’s Warehouse and Installation teams for day to-day project management and receivables / deliveries

    • Oversee the day-to-day installation of projects working directly with the Installation Managers, Director of Staging, and Head of Staging

    • Day-to-day management of project budgets set by the Head of Staging and tracked by the Director of Staging

    • Manage project timelines and make any necessary updates and/or changes in order to stay on assigned timeline under the direction of the Director of Staging

    • Proficiently navigate the company’s proprietary software for inventory and project management

    • Respond to and execute internal feedback as provided by the Head of Staging and Director of Staging

    • Respond to and execute external feedback as provided by Clients

    • Attend weekly design meetings with the Head of Staging, Director of Staging and other design team members

    • Schedule and attend meetings or calls with Clients, taking notes as needed and saving these to the appropriate project file

    • Travel to and from project sites as needed

    • Oversee installation styling and general moving activities as needed

    Skills and Experience

    • B.A. in Interior Design, Architecture, or similar field preferred

    • Interior design or architecture experience, including high end residential or commercial

    • Experienced with AutoCAD. Proficiency in Rhino and SketchUp preferred, but not required

    • Proficient in Adobe Creative suite, Pages, and Microsoft Office

    Responsibilities

    • Recruit top tier candidates by assessing candidates experience level, industry expertise, and culture fit

    • Manage full recruitment process inclusive of hiring manager kick-off calls, sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews with hiring managers, offer conversations, and reference checks for roles

    • Become a subject matter expert, thoroughly understanding your respective business area, as well as those areas within the competitor landscape in order to assess the most suited candidates

    • Maintain consistent communication with candidates to keep them informed at each stage of the interview process ensuring a best in class candidate experience and brand representation

    • Share weekly updates with hiring managers and HR Director to ensure all are properly updated and informed of recruitment status

    • Participate in special corporate recruitment projects as needed

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of experience as a Recruiter; Design & Hospitality experience preferred

    • Experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter and an Applicant Tracking System for sourcing and resume review

    Ash is seeking a Junior Art Director to join the Creative Services team. This designer will help guide the graphic language of Ash’s myriad projects, reporting to the Chief Creative Officer and working closely with the Brand, Marketing, and other Creative Services teams.

    Position Responsibilities 

    The Junior Art Director will create graphic and visual concepts in response to project briefs and execute them across all media platforms including digital communications, websites, mobile apps and emails, marketing materials, press and print advertising, OSE, video content, logos, and branding. The Junior Art Director confidently asserts creative ideas with passion to sell concepts to cross- functional teams. The Junior Art Director must be proactive in approach, with a curiosity and genuine understanding of the visual medium, along with a wide breadth of cultural knowledge and research expertise. This role is very hands-on and requires the ability to manage a wide variety of multiple projects at the same time. 

    The following is a list of general responsibilities for the role: 

    • Balance the generation of original visual ideas that have both nuance and commercial appeal 

    • Work with the Chief Creative Officer and project teams to establish goals and appropriate creative directions 

    • Create original assets and manage content for all digital media and online platforms 

    • Stay abreast of new media formats and learn how to incorporate them into campaigns

    Ash is seeking a Producer to work on its Creative Services team. The Producer will report to the Chief Creative Officer and work closely with the Brand, Marketing, Design, Hotel, Staging, and other Creative Services teams. 

    Position Responsibilities 

    The Producer is a highly organized project manager who will manage the inputs and outputs of the Brand team: driving discovery, scoping, information collection and communication to be executed through creating briefs and following the work through to completion. The Producer will prepare, update and manage scope of work documentation for all brand activities. The Producer will work with the Directors of Brand to flush all details ahead of project plan submittals and follow the process end to end to ensure all details are completed according to the intent of the Creative Services team. 

    The following is a list of general responsibilities for the role: 

    • Create and manage daily input, output and project schedules of the brand teams 

    • Hire and manage the work of external talent including but not limited to digital production, creative production, art buying, copywriting, graphic design 

    • Delegate responsibilities as appropriate to the internal project team including brand director, art director, brand coordinators, product development, production design 

    • Manage production budgets for all brand-related projects 

    • Maintain and update project schedules and budgets as required 

    • Provide daily status report on all ongoing projects

    • Manage and interact with users on digital media sites in collaboration with the Junior Art Director 

    • Synthesize cross-platform project information as needed to inform brand team projects 

    • Assist in the development of and execute brand strategy as directed by the Chief Creative Officer and brand directors 

    Skills and Experience 

    • 5+ years working experience in similar Producer / Project Manager role 

    • Excellent knowledge organizational and project management softwares including: Microsoft Suite, Keynote, Pages, Google Suite, Slack/Asana or similar communication tools 

    • Complete understanding of digital and social media softwares and platforms 

    • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite 

    • Strong organizational and writing skills required as is the ability to produce projects under tight deadline pressure 

    • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and effectively 

    • Strong attention to detail 

    • Ability to collect and analyze data and information from cross-functional teams and prioritize according to the needs of each project

    Qualifications

    Summary

    The primary focus of the Installation Specialist role is to assist in the day-to-day execution of installation work, maintaining standards and quality on staging projects, and reporting back to the Installation Manager and Senior Installation Managers as needed.

    Position Requirements

    • Assist in the moving of furniture according to design concepts prepared by internal design team

    • Cleans sites during and after installation work, including but not limited to dusting, disinfecting, vacuuming, trash removal, and organizing

    • Builds furniture using directions and tools provided by manufacturer

    • Packaging and unpacking of furniture, art, and accessories for move-in and move-out activities

    • Swapping of items rejected either by internal or external teams once initial work is complete, typically utilizing company Sprinter

    • Assist project managers with any in-person activities via virtual communication required

    • Lifts and maneuvers items independently, with internal teammates, as well as with third party moving team, using proper physical form techniques and adhering to OSHA standards.

    • Documents projects prior to move in and move out, reporting any damages to management for client communication.

    • Uploads comprehensive photo documentation of installation progress at the end of each work day to company-wide file sharing platform with proper internal notifications to management.

    • Measures spaces and makes erasable markings to assist in both design phase and installation phase activities.

    • Assist in all basic art handling and installation activities

    • Notifies management of any damages that occur promptly with corresponding photo documentation

    • Follows the ASH Uniform Policy and to reach and exceed target goals set by the Director of Staging and Installation Manager.

    Skills and Experience

    • Knowledge, experience and interest in the staging industry is preferred

    • Ability to use both power tools and manual tools with expert or near-expert level skills

    • Physical strength required for moving, art handling, and general installation and moving assistance

    • Comfortable being on and using a ladder more than 10’ from the floor

    • Ability to wear a face covering for 8+ hours, 5 days per week
