Ash—Bar’s a tribute to train travel, cruise liners, train cars, and the overly-veneered, disorientingly glamorous environments one might find when they're out of their comfort zones. It's intentionally built around a horizontal plane, with low ceilings offering an intimacy and rattan furniture an otherwordly feel.
Silverleafed ceilings with hand-painted murals, sunken dining areas, and rattan tables offer tension against the Ulysses blue tabletops. Moving through the space is intentionally awkward, a nudge towards connection with a strange or unexpected behavior. It's a chance to experiment with an alter ego.
